What Is Juice Box?
Juice Box is an online children’s show and YouTube channel designed to entertain kids and grown-ups while teaching the Catholic faith. The web series will use popular toys, stories, games, crafts, and more to introduce faith-based topics on a level that young children will understand, engage with, enjoy, and (most importantly) remember. Juice Box is a family-oriented Youtube channel you can feel safe letting your kids watch.

Elmo will never teach the kids on Sesame Street how to pray, and Daniel Tiger will never ride his trolley to Mass. We can harness the same storytelling techniques of wildly popular kids’ shows to effectively teach basic skills and ideas but instead lead children down the path of faith.

The Big Idea
With young Catholics leaving the Church in droves, it’s time to find a new way to pass on the faith and engage our youngest generation. But there are very few high-quality multimedia resources available to Catholic parents to help their children begin to understand and encourage their faith. With your help, we can fix that!
We can’t complete this project without you, and we’re hopeful you and other Catholics will recognize the prospect of making a positive difference in the future of the Church. With your help, we will produce diverse Catholic children’s faith explainer videos for kids ages 3 to 6.
We are constructing a weekly show that employs popular toys, stories, games, crafts, and more to introduce faith-based topics on a level that young children will understand, engage with, enjoy, and (most importantly) remember. Fresh and recurring content is critical to cultivating a broad audience on YouTube, so the strategy is to release a new episode every Friday. We are developing a formula to manage costs while maintaining quality and regularity.
In the long term, we will be producing a flagship kids’ show hosted by two devout Catholic performers, both trained in ministry and faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church. Each episode will feature Miss Mel, Steve, and Dilly (our animated character) guiding kids through the fun and compelling aspects of the Catholic faith. The writing, pre-production, set construction, production, and post-production require tremendous energy, creativity, time, and skill, which requires more resources than currently allotted to sustain this production level.
